Bright Stars Montessori Preschool is a family owned and operated early years education service. We pride ourselves on bridging the gap between traditional day care and kindergarten. About You: We are looking for an Centrer Director and Educational Leader who is passionate about educating and caring for children but also a team player who offers support when required and able to share their knowledge freely. Most of all a people person who is committed to the role who shares a similar child first philosophy. https://brightstars.nsw.edu.au
There is ample time provided to allow for overseeing documentation and hands on mentoring in this role.
Qualifications & experience
- Strong communication & documentation skills
- Sound knowledge of the EYLF & NQS
- Sounds experience in the Educational Leader role
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- Be organised & able to meet deadlines
- Preferably a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or working towards
Tasks & responsibilities
- The ability to collaborate with our educators and provide curriculum direction and guidance
- Build the knowledge, skills and professionalism of the team
- Assist with the self assessment online tools
- Align learning with the EYLF & the NQS
- Build & maintain strong, positive relationships with families, children & team
- Support a culture of reflective practice & continuous improvement
- Guide & support the team towards best practice
