Your responsibilities would include:
- Oversee the daily operations of the centre.
- Plan and implement quality programs using your knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Ensure the centre is consistently well presented and offers a safe and welcoming environment.
- Collaborate and support the ongoing development of each team member. • Maintain and manage resources across the centre.
- Ensure all health & safety benchmarks are maintained at the highest level.
- Initiate and participate in key events, centre tours and social/fundraising events.
Skills & Experience
- Ideally have at least 4 years previous experience in a 2IC or room leader role
- The drive for high quality education and care
- An ACECQA recognised qualification Early Childhood Teachers Degree, or be Diploma qualified.
- Current First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
- A current Working with Children Check and Child Protection Certificate
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Demonstrated leadership experience and skills
- To be a confident leader who can drive cultural change and develop a high performing team
- Have a caring disposition and a positive attitude
- Have an ability to communicate effectively with children, families and staff members
- Possess a passion, enthusiasm, and a genuine love of working with children.
- Highly desirable: sound understanding of CCS and Xplor Software however training can be provided.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and NQF
- Ability to develop warm and meaningful relationships with children
