About the serviceThe service is centrally located, close to public transport and provides a parking spot for the leader. With less than 80 children at full occupancy, this role is manageable and comes with less stress than some of the larger centres in the area.The service prides itself on demonstrating fun, safe, exciting & engaging environments and experiences for children between 6 weeks to 6 years.The team is a fantastic mix of cultures and backgrounds who each bring something different & unique to the families being served. The service has earned itself a terrific reputation within the local community.
About the roleWe are looking for a strong leader with experience in a similar setting. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all aspects of building occupancy and operations, have a strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks and National Quality Framework, and be experienced with Assessment and Ratings.You must demonstrate a proven ability to use your naturally excellent communication skills to persuade, engage, inspire, and motivate a team of passionate Educators to deliver optimal learning outcomes for the families being served. Most of the families being served are from Mandarin or Cantonese-speaking backgrounds, so language skills in this area will be an added bonus!The non-negotiables
- Diploma qualification or higher
- Minimum of 2 years experience as Centre Manager or higher
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
- Inherently responsible and dedicated to providing a safe and positive environment for children and staff
- Willingness to continue professional development and contribute to ongoing learning
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with families and the wider community
- Strong organisational and time management skills
