Join JLL as our Centre Manager based at one of Sydney’s most progressive dining and lifestyle destinations. This mixed-use precinct is renowned for hosting some incredible events and houses over 40 major retailers across 5 floors.
Your focus in this role is to provide a high level of service to the client, maximising the return of investment for the centre, tenant retention, and minimising risk by leading and developing our onsite team.
Other key responsibilities include;
- Complying with all Acts of Legislation
- Meeting appropriate deadlines imposed by the client and our Portfolio Manager
- Having a thorough understanding and appreciation for the market environment, including competition, development proposals and infrastructure
- Ensuring accurate records of all documentation are being maintained including tenancy schedule, financial statements, leases, and retailer files
- Preparing annual budget, business plan, marketing plan, and monthly reports
- Administering the leases ensuring that correct charges are raised, reviews are done on time, turnover figures collected, turnover rental charged, outgoing reconciliation’s completed, and confirming that all parties adhere to the conditions of the lease
- Ensuring vacancies are advertised effectively
- Actively seek out new tenants to fill vacancies
- Liaising continually with leasing operatives
- Monitoring tenancy mix to ensure optimum rentals are achieved

You will be a true property professional with proven success in shopping centre management, with an in-depth knowledge of the retail sector. You possess excellent client relationship management skills and always look to find a win/ win solution for any challenge you meet.
You will have strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead a talented team, coupled with outstanding interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
Furthermore, you have proven experience overseeing finance, budgeting, operations, contractor management, leasing, and marketing with a tenacious ‘I won’t give up’ attitude, determined to accomplish only the very best outcomes.
A real estate licence is required.
