THE ROLE
The Marion Leisure & Fitness Centre is a key community hub servicing the health and fitness needs of more than 700 members with direct visitation more than 240,000 annually. The centre includes multiple facilities to service our members including a health club, group fitness classes, café, KidsClub (child-minding services) and a multi-purpose, three-court sports stadium.
The role of the Centre Manager is pivotal to the success of YMCA South Australia (“the Y”) and the achievement of the Y’s mission and vision. They will lead the YMCA’s activities and development in area of health and wellbeing and stadium sports while achieving key result areas of compliance, safety, financial and community engagement.
The Centre Manager is responsible and accountable for the management and operation of The Marion Leisure & Fitness Centre and will also provide management oversight, leadership and operational support to the dedicated team at the Holdfast Bay Community Centre. A key people-leader, the Centre Manager will manage and lead a team of dedicated passionate professionals to deliver a suite of services, activities, and programmes to the highest of standards.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification in recreation or equivalent
- (HLTAID003) Provide First Aid or equivalent
- (HLTAID001) Provide CPR or equivalent
- Certificate of completion for Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – education and care (RRHAN-EC)
- Current Driver’s License
