THE ROLE
Are you passionate about providing exceptional service to your community? Do you have strong leadership skills and a keen eye for safety and compliance? The YMCA of South Australia is seeking Duty Managers to join us at the Purruna Spencer Newton Centre.
As our Duty Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the centre, overseeing staff and ensuring that all patrons have a positive experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and make a real difference in the lives of others.
Your key duties will include supervising usage of the leisure facility, assisting fitness staff where necessary, ensuring that all processes are compliant and promoting a safe and welcoming environment for all. You will also be responsible for educating patrons on safety and having a strong understanding of emergency procedures to identify and respond to any emergencies.
In addition to your operational duties, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service and assist with general administration tasks.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:
- (HLTAID011) Provide First Aid or equivalent Certificate
- (HLTAID009) Provide CPR or equivalent Certificate
- Pool Operator's Certificate
- Proven capability to build strong and positive relationships with key stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal skills and highly developed communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and create solutions
- Ability to multi-task, troubleshoot, and work under pressure
