AddressLe Culinaire Hospitality Institute is a rapidly growing CRICOS registered training provider, with campus and practical training kitchens in Sydney CBD. We are currently seeking passionate and experienced CHEF Trainer and Assessors to join our team, at our Sydney campuses.
The successful applicant(s) will be able to deliver:
SIT40721 - Certificate IV in Kitchen Management
Responsibilities will include:
- Deliver quality training and assessment in the SIT40521 - Certificate IV in Kitchen Management SIT60322 - Advanced Diploma of Hospitability Management
- Monitor and document students' attendance and course progress.
- Provide timely reports to the Lead Trainer and other stakeholders, indicating progress and risk issues relating to the course and/or students.
- Participation in moderation and validation processes.
Essential Skills & Experience
You MUST be able to demonstrate:
- High-level written and oral communication skills.
- Minimum 3 years verifiable recent experience working in the hospitality industry – preferably at a supervisor level.
- Experience in assessment validation and moderation practices.
- Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills with an ability to prioritise and manage own workload, meet deadlines (KPIs), and adapt to changing circumstances in accordance with organization’s policies and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work remotely, without direct supervision.
- Able to demonstrate teaching skills that employ a range of teaching techniques and resources that engage and motivate students.
- An ability to build supportive relationships with students.
- Moderate computer literacy (MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
You MUST hold:
- Current CertificateTAE40122 IV in Training and Assessment - or higher qualification in adult Education
- Hold a SIT40521 - Certificate IV in Kitchen Management
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience working with international, culturally diverse groups of students
- Experience with online learning platforms – e.g. Moodle
- Have Experience in the VET Industry
