We currently have a full-time position available for an on-road Motor Assessor.
About the role

Your days will be interesting and varied, and will help you grow and develop as an assessor.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and preparing detailed assessment reports
- Negotiating, monitoring, and communicating outcomes to clients and claimants
- Managing relationships with repairers
- Controlling client costs in line with business requirements
- Calculating vehicle values in line with accepted industry guidelines
- Undertake local and regional travel (as required)

About you
To be considered for this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate:
- Solid understanding of the insurance assessing industry
- Motor vehicle trade qualified (preferred) – preferably Panel Beating or spray painting
- Experience as a repair shop manager or estimator (preferred)
- Knowledge of MS Office applications
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- Current valid drivers’ license (essential)
- National Australian Police Check and willingness to obtain
