About this role
We are seeking an Aged Care Trainer/Assessor to join our team to deliver Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33021) in the Cental Coast & Newcastle regions.

Responsibilities
- Delivery of qualifications using comprehensive learning materials.
- Undertake student assessments both in class & on student work placement.
- Plan, review, and improve training and assessment materials.
- Participate in assessment validation, moderation, and continuous improvement
Qualifications & Experience:
Applicants must be motivated and enthusiastic with a passion for sharing their knowledge, skills and experience with the next generation of health workers.
Required:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or a relevant vocational qualification in Aged Careor higher nursing qualification.
- Experience in working in an Aged Care environment.
- Minimum TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or its successor) or
- TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the following units:
- TAELLN411 (or its successor) or TAELLN401A, and
- TAEASS502 (or its successor) or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B or
- a diploma or higher level qualification in adult education.

- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion in all interactions and tasks.
- A team player with a positive and pro-active approach to the role.
- Current Police check.
Desirable
- Experience working in a RTO environment.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Prior experience in the development & contextualisation of course training & assessment material
