About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Change Analyst with a focus on Data Governance to lead our Data Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving data governance initiatives, managing change related to data policies and practices, and leading the Data Council to ensure effective data management and governance across the organization.
Please note; this is a 12-month fixed term contract.
What you'll be doing
- Lead the Data Council, coordinating activities, meetings, and initiatives, while facilitating collaboration among members and stakeholders.
- Develop and integrate detailed change management plans into project plans, ensuring timelines, communication strategies, and resource requirements are met.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops to ensure alignment and buy-in for change initiatives.
- Develop and deliver clear, concise communication plans and materials, including presentations, emails, and newsletters.
- Identify training needs related to change initiatives and coordinate the development and delivery of training programs, providing ongoing support and guidance.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on the status and impact of change initiatives, implementing best practices and lessons learned to enhance future efforts.
About you
- Over 4 years of experience as a Change Analyst with in-depth knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Proficient in change impact analysis, risk assessment, and providing actionable insights from complex data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Skilled in creating and delivering effective presentations to diverse audiences.
- Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels and familiarity with data modelling, data mapping, and data structures.
- Strong background in agile delivery, experienced with tools such as Confluence and JIRA; a background in utilities is highly preferable.
