Job description

About the role:
Victoria Police is implementing a suite of large IT projects across the organisation, such as a new electronic Penalty and Infringement notice system (E-Pins), Enterprise Rostering system and Electronic Document Records Management System (EDRMS) amongst others, designed to better support employees.
This role sits within the Business Engagement Division of Digital Services & Security Department and will report to the Change Manager for the projects.
The Change Officer will assist with the development and execution of change management interventions to support the delivery and maximise adoption for these IT projects being delivered in the Division.

Your duties will include:
  • Assist with the development of change management artefacts including change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, and change plan including communications, engagement, and training
  • Actively engage with stakeholders to ensure the change activities are successfully implemented and evaluated
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of stakeholder engagement activities including meetings, workshops, focus groups, training and presentations
  • Develop and distribute communications to a range of audiences using specific organisational communication channels
As the successful applicant, you will have:
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-developed organisation skills with ability to prioritise
  • Able to work on a range of deliverables at the same time and produce quality outcomes within specific timeframes
  • Ability to work with a range of stakeholders from across the organisation
  • Strong document creation, editing and presentation skills, with great attention to detail, specifically using MS Work, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Proven ability to monitor client and stakeholder satisfaction
Requirements and relevant information:
  • One (1) full-time, ongoing position available, One (1) full-time fixed term position available until 1st April 2025
  • The positions are located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
  • The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head. To achieve this, applicants must be an Australian Citizen
  • The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
  • In accordance with the Acting Chief Health Officer's Direction – COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination (Workers) Directions, you are required to be fully vaccinated (this includes a booster vaccination) and your employment with Victoria Police is subject to proof of vaccination.
