About the Role
As the Communications Officer, you will support the delivery of high-quality internal and community communications across a range of channels. This opportunity will require someone with over three years’ experience implementing comm’s strategies as well as experience managing media-related issues and queries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement the communications strategy externally across various channel, looking to identify trends to enhance the organisations social media presence
- Developing, writing, and editing communications and marketing materials (blog posts, social media content, press releases, speeches)
- Look to identify emerging and establish trends that will enhance the organisations overall communications strategy
- Ensure that all marketing and communications material align with the organisations standards
- Support the development of templates, branding, the company style guide and the company Communications Plan.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ideally you will hold qualifications in journalism, public relations, marketing, communications or a related field
- Have a high level of digital literacy and experience in using different technologies to enhance the brand and communications of the company
- Experience using a content management system and writing for the web
- You must be willing to undergo a National Police Check and must hold a Drivers License
