Contract Duration: 6-Months
Daily Rate: $1,000/Day + Super
We are looking for an experienced Change Manager to join our team for a 6-month contract. This role will focus on managing change activities within a large mobility program, specifically deploying tablets on-site. Your responsibilities will include:
- Data gathering and change analysis activities, such as change impact assessment.
- Stakeholder analysis to understand key influencers and potential resistance.
- Training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
- Change planning and preparation to ensure smooth implementation.
- Change communications and engagement planning to foster support and understanding.
- Development of training plans and materials tailored to project requirements.
- Establishment of communication and engagement channels/platforms as needed.
- Delivery and coordination of day-to-day change activities, including clear and accessible change communication artefacts.
- Training delivery as required to ensure competency with new processes and technologies.
- Process review workshops to optimize workflows and procedures.
- Preparation of UAT participants to ensure readiness for system testing.
- Change readiness assessments at critical project milestones to evaluate progress and readiness.
- Stakeholder management to maintain alignment and manage expectations.
- Collaboration with sponsors to secure ongoing support and drive adoption of changes.
- Close partnership with Project Manager to integrate people-related changes and mitigate risks.
- Establishment and maintenance of strong relationships with key stakeholders to address concerns and ensure effective change management.
- Active engagement with project delivery teams, key stakeholders, and other business units to align efforts and deliver project goals.
- Ongoing evaluation of change activities' effectiveness and identification of people-related risks and issues.
Qualifications/Education:
- Change Management certification or substantial equivalent experience in change management.
- PROSCI accreditation would be advantageous.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in delivering change projects, including detailed change and business impact assessments and monitoring progress against plans.
- Prior experience working on a mining site as a Change Manager
- Experience in IT implementation would be advantageous.
Skills:
- Proven ability to build trust and confidence with diverse stakeholders through effective engagement and collaboration across organizational levels.
- Strong communication skills, including facilitation of workshops and presentations, articulation of different viewpoints, and presentation of complex information in an accessible manner.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, adept at managing and executing multiple concurrent activities and projects, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines to achieve business outcomes.
- Customer-focused mindset with a solid understanding of business contexts and implications.
Please note there will be occasional site travel required with this position. ***Only candidates currently based in Perth will be considered for this position.
