The opportunity
The Senior Change Manager is accountable for the design and delivery of Change Management solution to support the Risk Integration project (CPS230 compliance). This is contingent contract role working at AMP.
About the role:
- Identifying the appropriate change management strategy and business context.
- Leading and managing the change management stream including the design, development, and implementation of change management deliverables, including a change impact assessment and communications plan.
- Managing stakeholder expectations at all levels of the organisation.
- Working with the Project Manager and Business Owner to engage stakeholders and ensure business readiness.
- Working collaboratively with other stream leads to identify, understand, and facilitate transition activities relevant to the scope and scale of business impacts resulting from the changes being introduced.
- Develop change plans and activities to enable key stakeholders support the project implementation.
- Identify barriers to the business initiative and develop change strategies/ plans and schedules to effectively overcome these barriers.
- Develop comprehensive ways of leading the change management effort through all stages of delivery.
- Manage and assess change impacts for the project, including any potential scope changes, and as input to business change heat maps.
- Measure and monitor adoption and success criteria and facilitate reviews to obtain feedback to ensure a successful outcome.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager, Project Owner, and key senior stakeholders. Seek inputs and feedback into the effectiveness of the Change Management Plan.
- Ensure key stakeholders receive an elevated level of support, are engaged, and commit to the ownership of the change initiative.
- Think globally about the change and strategically selects the appropriate tools, methodology and models when facilitating change, in line with the organisation's strategy, structure, process and culture.

- Draws out key issues to identify underlying trends when working systematically to resolve problems, identify causes, anticipate implications, and make informed decisions. Considers broad implications of decisions within the context of the wider business.
- Displays the ability to influence outside own function and to form alliances with other areas, industries, functions, and organisations.
- Leads and influences the communication of ideas in individual and group situations and adjusts language to the characteristics and needs of the audience to achieve strategic outcomes. Uses a sophisticated understanding of empathy and communication styles to achieve strategic outcomes.
About you:
- Exposure to financial services, working in large, complex environments, with experience in interacting with executive and senior management.
- Minimum 7 years in a change management role
- Experience in Risk management.
- Tertiary qualification in business or related discipline
- Post graduate change certification desirable.
