Key Accountabilities
Leading a small and dedicated team to successfully deliver the change management program.
Be a champion for change within CIT driving continuous improvement and working closely with the broader team and Change Managers across CIT to mobilise and embed functional, consistent and cultural change.
Lead the establishment of CITs change management program to ensure transformation and adoption practices are embed for ease of transition to CITs new Campus, including prototypes.
Be responsible for the development, management and continuous improvement of the change management practices, particularly methods and processes and incorporation of prototypes.
Analyse the need for change, including thorough stakeholder analyses, assessing current processes, cultural and historical practices and readiness for change.
Ensure stakeholders are engaged, informed and supported throughout the change process.
Establish and maintain a strong connection with CIT Strategic Communications and develop and implement a communications plan including different communication platforms such an interactive internet page.
Develop clear and concise communication materials to effectively convey the purpose, benefits and progress of the change initiatives to stakeholders at all levels.
Identify training and development needs and opportunities, working with CIT business areas to ensure the design and implementation of training programs and provide recommendations for the necessary skills and knowledge.
Identify potential risks and barriers to change and develop mitigation strategies to minimise their impact on the Institute and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with applicable standards and legislative responsibilities and help create a supportive and positive environment for change.
Be responsible for the smooth execution of change initiatives, including monitoring progress, evaluating the effectiveness of change strategies, and making any necessary adjustments to ensure successful outcomes.
Establish, maintain and foster positive and enduring relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Requirements
At least 5 years’ experience in change management or associated roles with relevant knowledge and understanding of change management practices in complex organisations.
Knowledge and experience in the application of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices is essential. Including knowledge of change management frameworks, tools and techniques to effectively plan, execute and monitor change initiatives within an organisation.
Strong leadership and influencing skills to inspire and motivate others, as well as the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders to embrace change and actively participate in the change process.
Demonstrated high level representational, verbal and written communication skills are vital to convey the purpose, benefits, and impacts of change to stakeholders of all levels.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organisation. The ability to identify, analyse and prioritise stakeholders is crucial.
Relevant tertiary qualifications to underpin the duties outlined above will be highly regarded.
Knowledge of the vocational education sector would be highly advantageous but not essential.
