In any IT transformation there are two major elements. The first is the technology capability uplift. The second is ensuring that the business is ready and that the people are able to accept and adopt the new system.
The change management team in this construct plays a key role in driving the business readiness of the organisation through assessing the business needs and preparing the organisation for the planned changes.
The change management team will also play a critical role in supporting the broader project teams during the transition period.
Essential criteria:
• Good understanding of change management, principles, techniques, and tools
• Proven experience in organisational change management, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role
• Excellent written communication skills, and proficient in Microsoft office
• Effective facilitation and influencing skills
• Experience managing projects in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments
• Experience with PROSCI/ADKAR models, and their application to the successful delivery of change programs/project/initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
• Strong business acumen, project management and planning skills
• An analytical mindset and critical thinker, who can work well under pressure
• Security clearance (NV1 or NV2)
• Canberra based
Desirable criteria:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Organisational Development, Psychology, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Change Lead or Change Manager
• Defence experience
• ICT transformation experience
