The Redesign and Change Project Officer will be a part of the SCHN Strategy and Innovation Directorate (DSI). DSI work with staff across the organisation at all levels to build capacity and deliver on the Network's ambitious transformation strategy. This position will be responsible for working with staff, departments and consumers across SCHN to innovate and deliver upon a number of redesign and strategic change priorities and projects for the Network.What you'll be doing
This position will be responsible for working with staff, departments and consumers across SCHN to innovate and deliver upon a number of redesign and strategic change priorities and projects for the Network. The Redesign and Change Project Officer will lead the development of project, implementation, change and evaluation plans; developing and implementing models of care; devising communication strategies; establishing working groups and engaging stakeholders in meaningful consultation and co-design. This position will establish working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective development, implementation and sustainability of redesign and strategic change projects.
Note that the role has a Network remit and as such may be located at any location across the SCHN.
Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive relevant experience in health, social sciences or related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in project management, change management or clinical redesign in a health environment.
Demonstrated high quality organisational skills, ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships with clinicians and health service managers from various backgrounds to ensure successful project outcomes.
High level analytical and problem solving skills including ability to collect, analyse, interpret and report on complex data and information from numerous sources and incorporate into project plans.
High level verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate, consult and negotiate effectively with stakeholders.
High level capability with Microsoft Office suite, including excel and the ability to learn and adapt to the use of a variety of software systems and databases.
Current unrestricted driver's licence which is valid in NSW (Class C licence or equivalent) and ability to travel as required.

ASARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) 3 doses are highly recommended for all other health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
