The BB Analytics, Data and Decision Science (BB ADDS) team use data and analytics to identify our customers’ needs and safely deliver insights, contact journeys and innovative solutions to improve their financial wellbeing. We leverage data and innovative technology to deeply understand our customers and derive world-class insights to support commercial strategy and decision-making. We proactively uncover stakeholder needs and partner with product, data, and support teams to provide innovative, accurate and timely solutions to complex opportunities.

As Chapter Lead- Analytics Solutions, you will lead and utilise a variety of analytical tools such as SQL, Teradata in conjunction with large data sets to enable business leaders to make better decisions. You will work with business, technology and product and segment stakeholders to deliver Analytical Solutions, commercial insights, customer journeys and customer contact decisioning that will transform how the Business Bank engages with customers.
With your strong analytical, numerate, and logical reasoning skills you will collaborate with various stakeholders, providing support through the creation of applications and tools delivering advanced analytical solution that help drive decision making.
You will utilise your business acumen to translate complex business requirements and objectives into technical solutions that help drive and support strategic commercial objectives. You will develop a deep understanding of the customer experience and help to optimise this experience wherever possible.
On a day-to-day basis, you will:
Managing and developing a team of motivated individuals
Developing and maintaining effective relationships with various stakeholders
Gather data requirements and develop interactive and automated solutions that will help stakeholders make strategic decisions through pro-active deep dives and insights
Generate insights and analytics to assist stakeholders to better understand and promote meaningful conversations with our customers
Support with development and optimisation of the Relationship Pricing strategy using data, insights, and analytics to develop solutions on profiling and segmentation
Are continuously seeking to find ways to standardise, simplify and automate business processes
We’re interested in hearing from people who have
Demonstrated experience working in a roles involving leadership, data analysis, Insights and Analytics within financial services
Advanced SQL experience working on Teradata or another database
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills including building and maintaining good networks
Exhibit strong commercial acumen, and experience in proactively and creatively utilising analytics to drive decision making
Good knowledge of BI Tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
Experience with other languages such as Python or SAS, or tools such as Alteryx is well regarded
Degree in relevant discipline (qualification in Actuarial studies Economics, Finance, Statistics, Maths, or Sciences preferred)
