We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our kitchen team as a Part-Time/Full Time Chef. As a Chef, you will work closely with our experienced chefs to further develop your culinary skills and knowledge. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about the culinary arts and is eager to continue their career in the dynamic world of gastronomy.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes under the guidance of our Head Chef.
- Learn and execute culinary techniques, knife skills, and food safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, following sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Participate in training sessions and actively seek opportunities for skill development.
- Contribute creative ideas to menu planning and special events.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Enthusiasm for the culinary arts and a genuine passion for food.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
- Basic understanding of kitchen etiquette and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery or 5 plus years experience in a fast paced kitchen.
