About the role
Opportunities exist for qualified, passionate and highly motivated Chefs for all levels, from Sous Chef through to Chef De Parties, Apprentices and even Kitchen Hands!

Reporting to the Head Chef your responsibilities may include:
- Preparing and cooking food according to customers’ orders
- Ensuring that all dishes created are of high quality and presented well
- Provide input to seasonal changes and / or specials to the menus
- Order food supplies as required
- Demonstrating cooking techniques to the kitchen staff and advise other chefs / cooks on cooking procedures
- Monitor costs with special regard to portion control, waste minimisation and stock control
- Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations, safe work practice and having knowledge of allergy restricted food
- Carrying out quality checks on food supplies to ensure quality and freshness
- Liaising with Front of House Manager / team to ensure that a smooth service is always provided to the customers

- Chef Positions require trade qualification, Certificate in commercial cookery IV or above (not diploma of hospitality) and a minimum 3 years experience in similar role
