The Grand Hotel in Healesville is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and passionate Chef or Cook to complete our team.
This is a part-time or Full-time position, with rotating weekends off.

We pride ourselves on quality food, beverage, and customer service and are looking for an outstanding Chef who has extensive experience in a country pub environment.
Key duties: Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the planning and execution of creative, high-quality dishes
• Be able to work in all areas of the kitchen
• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure a smooth operation during service
• Food preparation, cooking, and presentation
• Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
We are a local / family-run hotel and understand the importance of work-life balance
Reporting to the Head Chef, you will be able to work a rotating roster over 7 days including lunch and dinner, and breakfast on weekends
• You must have a great sense of humour
• You must be passionate about food, with drive, enthusiasm and attention to detail.
• You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to motivate and develop staff and have fun on the job,
• You must have the ability to work under pressure.
• You will have successfully completed Cert IV in Commercial Cookery.
