The Commercial Hotel is currently seeking experienced and energetic Chefs / Cooks to join our kitchen team located in the Kingaroy!Serving lunch and dinner, the Com Pub’s menu has something for everyone. The menu includes pasta, seafood, burgers, steaks and Australian classic pub bistro cuisine.The Role:Assisting our team in maintaining an efficient and proactive kitchen operation across both venues
Ensuring all meals are of high quality and are prepared in a timely manner
Utilising a variety of fresh, frozen and prepared ingredients to prepare, cook and present a range of dishes according to a seasonal menu
Practicing effective stock rotation and wastage minimisation procedures
Assisting with menu changes when required
Successful Candidate:Previous experience in a fast-paced commercial kitchen
Availability to work any hospitality hours
Ability to work well under a high-pressure environment
Brilliant communication skills with all team members
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery preferred but not essential
