Have you had previous experience as a Chef working in a fast-paced kitchen in a small to medium sized venue? Or are you an keen cook looking to take the next step in your career?
As a Chef de Partie, the focus of this role will be to assist the Sous Chefs with the day-to-day running of our client's busy kitchen operations. Closely supported by kitchen management, you will be working within a close team reporting directly to the Sous Chef.
Leading by example, you will be expected to drive the team forward in an encouraging and motivating manner, using your strong communication skills to develop positive relations with front of house team members and internal and external customers
- An ability to monitor and maintain consistent standards relating to quality, presentation and hygiene.
- An eye for detail and presentation, along with a passion for creating exciting and high-quality food.
- Uncompromising approach to product & service delivery – a great hands-on service ethic
- Supporting Head Chef with day-to-day operations of the Kitchen and assist in their absence.
- Capable of working cohesively and autonomously within a small team.
- Required: Availability to suit rotating shift work rosters, that can span weekdays and weekends
- Preferred: Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast paced kitchen.
