About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Chef De Partie to join our fabulous team, who ensures quality service to our valued members and guests. The position will report to our Head Chef and duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following
· To monitor and maintain consistent food standards and quality across the kitchen and during all stages of food production and supply.
· To have total accountability for the day-to-day running of the kitchen service
· To actively participate in the ongoing management and development of menus in liaison with the Head Chef and ensure menus are costed accurately.
· Ensure all food is prepared as per food preparation requirements.
· Ensure meals are produced on time, and enough are available for the various areas.
· Be available for functions as they arise to ensure that the food is prepared and served as required.
· Ensure wastage is minimized by careful supervision of food preparation methods.
· Overall responsibility for the delivery of quality food.
· Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality.
· Ensure strict compliance with company procedures and requirements.
· To participate in the HACCP procedure according to the company’s Food Safety Management document.
· To ensure quality control measures and hygiene systems are always achieved.
· Working as a team, with other members to ensure quality service is provided.
· Train new staff skills they require to perform their roles to the required standard.
About you:
· Effective interpersonal and communication skills
· Ability to prep and organise ahead.
· Previous Chef experience, minimum 3 years, and cooking in a similar environment
· High standard of personal hygiene.
Job Details:
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: AUD 70,000 per year plus superannuation
