Chef De Partie | Cook - Parramatta Cbd

We are looking for a hard working Chef who is passionate about food to join our growing team. 

The Camellia Hotel is located in Parramatta and is part of the successful O'Hara Hotel Group.

There is a lot of potential to grow in this role and within the group and we offer support with Visa's 

We are looking for people who are passionate about producing great food, from pub classics to fresh & seasonal specials.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience as a Commis Chef or Chef De Partie is required
• Hands-on experience - from a Bistro or Al A Carte background 
• Understanding of stock control and waste minimisation
• Experienced in Ordering stock, managing your section and prepping your section. 
• Knowledge of all kitchen procedures, food handling and workplace safety.
• Consistent in delivering a high standard of food safety standards. 

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Open and close of kitchen
• Cooking pub/hotel food in accordance with Menu
• Monitor food stock
• Placing food orders as required
• Ensure health and safety regulations
• Ensure serving plates and cutlery are clean and ready for orders.
