Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience as a Commis Chef or Chef De Partie is required
- Hands-on experience - from a Bistro or Al A Carte background
- Understanding of stock control and waste minimisation
- Experienced in Ordering stock, managing your section and prepping your section.
- Knowledge of all kitchen procedures, food handling and workplace safety.
- Consistent in delivering a high standard of food safety standards.
Tasks & responsibilities:
- Open and close of kitchen
- Cooking pub/hotel food in accordance with Menu
- Monitor food stock
- Placing food orders as required
- Ensure health and safety regulations
- Ensure serving plates and cutlery are clean and ready for orders.
