HSW are currently accepting applications for a Casual Chef de Partie to join our world class Events team. As a senior member of the team, you will assist in leading motivated and talented chefs to execute memorable experiences for our guests. Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Executive Chef and Head Chef with the overall operation of the kitchen.
• Food preparation and cooking, plating, presentation.
• Manage the maintenance and ordering stocks and supplies.
• Manage food costs in line with the budget, along with labour costs.
• Maintain consistent food standards and cleaning/hygiene routines.
• Lead the kitchen team to ensure efficient and productive delivery of quality foods.
• Mentor, train and develop Chefs on techniques and cooking procedures, food safety regulations and workplace health and safety.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar role in an events/functions setting
• Undeniable pride for creating and delivering consistent, high quality produce
• Be a positive and collaborative team player
• Open to learning and ready for growth
• Ability to lead and mentor a team
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Trade Papers
• Flexible availability
