Chef De Partie

About the role:

Chinadina Pty Ltd (ACN: 671940677) is a modern Cantonese restaurant in Noosa (www.chinadina.com.au ).  An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join the team. Reporting into the Sous Chef and the Head Chef the focus of this role is to provide high quality, nutritious meals and exceptional service to our customers to enhance their daily lives.  This includes but not limited to:

·       Preparing, cooking and serving meals in a way that will enhance the customer’s dining experience, in line with all specialised diets, including supplements and texture modified foods.

·       Ensuring a high level of compliance with all food safety guidelines and HACCP procedures.

·       Receiving, storing and rotating food stores 

·       Maintaining kitchen equipment and plant in good condition notifying the Sous Chef for repairs where required 

·       Directing food preparation and follows instruction of Sous Chef and Head Chef 

·       Minimising food wastage and meet set targets for food costs

·       Any other duties as required by the Head Chef/Director 

·       Overseeing the work of subordinates 

·       Developing and maintain staff moral 

·       Achieving OH&S compliance

You must be resilient and flexible with a positive can-do attitude and have the ability to remain calm under pressure.

This is the place for you if you:

·       Hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)

·       Have experience in a commercial kitchen environment at least 2 years full-time

·       Understanding of food safety standards and HACCP

·       Have the initiative and ability to work without supervision

·       Ability to work in a team environment

·       Excellent communication skills

·       Ability to maintain high and consistent standards

Salary Offered between $70,000 plus super
