Role Overview:
As a Chef de Partie at MISC. you will play a key role in our kitchen brigade. You will work closely with our Head Chef and Sous Chefs to create and execute a diverse menu, ensuring the highest quality of food and exceptional presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant's standards, ensuring the use of fresh ingredients and attention to detail.
2. Menu Innovation: Contribute to menu development, offering creative ideas and suggestions for new dishes or improvements to existing ones.
3. Quality Control: Maintain the highest level of food quality, taste, and presentation. Perform regular quality checks to meet our high standards.
4. Kitchen Organisation: Oversee your section of the kitchen, including ingredient inventory, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness.
5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the culinary team, ensuring effective communication and teamwork to meet service goals.
6. Training: Assist in the training and mentorship of junior kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
7. Adherence to Regulations: Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or a similar role in a high-quality restaurant or culinary establishment.
- Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating exceptional dishes.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
