The Role:
My client is seeking a Permanent Chef Manager at an Aged Care residence in Brisbane.
Organising day-to-day operations; this is the ideal role for someone who wants to provide a fantastic meal experience to our 143 residents and values a well-run kitchen.
Roster: Monday to Friday 9.30am to 6.00pm
What This Role Involves:
- Dual responsibilities in food preparation / presentation and site management
- Overall cost management with a focus on food and labour costs
- Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
- Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
- Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
- Assisting the broader team as required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Experience with managing labour, food & operational costs
- Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
- Strong communication skills
- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
- Monday to Friday no weekends!!!
