THE POSITION
- Plan, supervise, monitor and evaluate the food production and site based catering
- Successfully manage, mentor and develop both front an back of house teams
- Maintain a high standard of food hygiene & allergy awareness controls
- Build and leveraging positive client relationships to achieve our partnership objectives
- Manage finances within a budget & maintain efficient operations
- Ensure contract compliance is met and understanding of the scope of work required (including all OH&S compliance)
- This role will see you working 43 weeks of the year during term time with school holidays off
THE PERSON
- Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
- 5 years Kitchen management experience in bulk catering with a strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
- Must be able to obtain Working with Children Check
- Strong people management skills & ability to deliver a high standard of customer focused service (this is also a client facing role)
- Intermediate computer/Microsoft office skills and full P&L Management
- Passionate about healthy and nutritious food
