The Role:
Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a Full time Chef Manager at our aged care residence in Pennant Hills.
Organising day-to-day operations; this is the ideal role for someone who wants to provide a fantastic meal experience to our residents and values a well-run kitchen.
Roster: Monday to Friday 10.00.am - 6.00 pm
What This Role Involves:
Dual responsibilities in food preparation / presentation and site management
Overall cost management with a focus on food and labour costs
Stock ordering, rotation, stocktaking- Customer Service
Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices/ Kitchen work
Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
Assisting the broader team as required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Experience with managing labour, food & operational costs
Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
Strong communication skills
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
