Chef/Cook Needed For An Asian Restaurant

We are currently hiring an experienced Chef/Cook for our Spicy Wok Restaurant & Lounge offering dining and takeaway facilities. We are looking for a motivated team member, to work in our Restaurant at St Clair Village Shopping Centre, St Clair SA 5011 have experience of cooking in wok and have expertise in Thai-Malaysian Cuisine 

About the role

 · Food preparation and cooking, plating and presentation. 

· Must have experience and have a passion for working on Asian Cuisine specially Thai-Malaysian Cuisine. Must have to have good skill in Wok. 

· Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies. 

· Innovative in producing new ideas for the menu and special occasions. 

· Contribute to the design of the restaurant's traditional Asian Menu. 

· Able to deal with big catering and function orders. 

· Able to work in a busy environment, including weekends and public holidays. 

· Train other kitchen staff if required. 

· All other required cook/chef duties. 

· Assisting with implementing and improving inventory systems and assisting with the ordering and receiving of produce. 

· Maintain High standards of personal / work hygiene. Comply with all the rules and regulations by the health department. Skills and experience 

· At least 1 year experience of working in a busy Asian kitchen (preferred) 

· Ability to maintain a clean kitchen and use kitchen appliances and equipment safety
