The goal is to exceed customer expectations in every way. To do this we require experienced chefs who can deliver the following:
- Prepare bulk dishes in accordance with menu requirements
- Receive, store, and safely manage kitchen supplies
- Clean and maintain kitchen premises
- Apply catering control principles
- Plan and deliver food that meets special dietary requirements
- Trade qualifications in commercial cookery (Certificate 3 or higher)
- Current Coal Board Medical (QCBM) - only required for some sites
- Current Standard 11 statement of Attainment - only required for some sites
- Have availability on short notice
- FIFO/DIDO Bulk Catering and A la carte experience (Min. 300 people/ covers per service)
- Availability to work a 7 on 7 off roster OR 14 on 7 off.
- Ability to work unsupervised
- A passion for the industry
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- General knowledge of OH&S procedure
- Successful candidates will be required to undertake a Drug & Alcohol screen (dated less than 3 months) at IPA's cost.
- Ability to provide a current Clear Criminal History Check (dated no less than 6 months ago)
