Chefs wanted!

There are a variety of FIFO/DIDO & Brisbane-based opportunities available, varying from as short as 7 days, up to as long as 14 days, as well as ongoing positions, so flexibility is essential.

The goal is to exceed customer expectations in every way. To do this we require experienced chefs who can deliver the following:

• Prepare bulk dishes in accordance with menu requirements
• Receive, store, and safely manage kitchen supplies
• Clean and maintain kitchen premises
• Apply catering control principles
• Plan and deliver food that meets special dietary requirements

We are looking for team players with the following:

• Trade qualifications in commercial cookery (Certificate 3 or higher)
• Current Coal Board Medical (QCBM) - only required for some sites
• Current Standard 11 statement of Attainment - only required for some sites
• Have availability on short notice
• FIFO/DIDO Bulk Catering and A la carte experience (Min. 300 people/ covers per service)
• Availability to work a 7 on 7 off roster OR 14 on 7 off.
• Ability to work unsupervised
• A passion for the industry
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• General knowledge of OH&S procedure
• Successful candidates will be required to undertake a Drug & Alcohol screen (dated less than 3 months) at IPA's cost.
• Ability to provide a current Clear Criminal History Check (dated no less than 6 months ago)
