Chief Executive Officer (Ceo)

Operating as an Incorporated Association registered in NSW, Success Works Partners places women with a criminal record into paid employment.  We are unique in Australia as the only culturally safe organisation supporting female ex-offenders to become contributing members of their community and move into employment. We are staffed by women with lived experience of the criminal justice system and supported by a volunteer Board and volunteer mentors. 

Through our specialized approach and focus on outcomes, we aim to break the cycle of disadvantage and trauma experienced by families affected by incarceration through mentoring, professional development workshops, individual support, and the development of partnerships with employers. 

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate CEO to lead our organisation and drive our mission forward. As the CEO, you will successfully lead, inspire, and support our small team, develop, and manage relationships with key stakeholders including employers, funding bodies and government agencies and work with the Board to build our social enterprise. 

• Together with the Success Works Board and staff, develop a strategic vision for the organisation, with a focus on securing opportunities for women with criminal records. 
• Lead and manage Success Works staff to achieve our mission.
• Build and nurture strategic partnerships with government agencies, community organisations and businesses to create employment and educational opportunities.
• Together with the Board, raise funds and ensure the management of the organisation's financial resources to ensure long-term sustainability.
• Advocate for policy changes that benefit our target demographic.
• Oversee the implementation of programs and initiatives that support women with criminal records, including mentoring, job training, and reintegration programs. 
• Maintain a strong organisational culture that values diversity, equity and inclusion.

Essential Criteria:

• Proven leadership experience at a senior level, preferably in the non-profit or community sector.
• Proven record in leading and managing a team.
• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute a vision.
• Track record of successful fundraising, grant writing, and financial management.
• Experience in advocacy and policy change.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders from various sectors. 
• Passion for, and commitment to, the empowerment and support of women with criminal records.
