The Illawarra Academy of Sport (IAS) is one of nine regional academies which are part of the Regional Academies of Sport (NSW) Incorporated. IAS is not-for-profit and proudly the first academy established in Australia.
The IAS offers a community-based pathway for talented youth within the region, providing athlete support services to pursue excellence in citizenship and sport.

Responsible for delivering on Purpose and Strategic Objectives, the role requires an accomplished leader and sports administrator with energy and gravitas. A leader who can build a high-performance culture and inspire. A manager with a proven ability to service a Board, membership, and the capacity to balance a portfolio of sports program delivery, business administration and governance, partnership and stakeholder relationships, education and advocacy, media liaison and pathway development.
