About the role:
You will be responsible for guaranteeing the dependability of the company's financial information processes to ensure timely and precise financial reporting, compliance with regulatory obligations, and support for strategic business decisions.
- Operating 3 brands within the Project & Custom Homes space
- Craft financial strategies that are aligned with the company's overarching goals and objectives to maximize effectiveness.
- Ensure precise and punctual financial reporting in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, and regulatory standards.
- Guarantee adherence to Australian financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
- Create tax planning strategies aimed at minimizing tax liabilities.
- Ensure the operating budget/forecast is current and approved by the Directors.
- Provide effective leadership for the accounts and finance function.
- Make an effective contribution to the management team.
- Must have 4+ years of experience working in a similar role within the Commercial or Residential industry
- An Australian tertiary qualification in accounting
- Member of CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants ANZ
