Chief Financial Officer - Large 6 Figure Package Asx Gold Focused Explorer

Our client is a dynamic junior exploration ASX-listed company, they are actively exploring for Gold in Côte d'Ivoire and Namibia.

Our client is a dynamic junior exploration ASX-listed company, they are actively exploring for Gold in the Birimian greenstones of Côte d'Ivoire and the Damara belt in Namibia. They are now looking to appoint a Chief Financial Officerwho will report into the Chairman of the Board, this position is based in Perth.
Key Responsibilities:

• Annual report, half yearly report and quarterly Appendix 5B.
• Monthly Management Accounts, Forecasts and Annual Budgets.
• Managing a finance team in multiple locations to produce accurate and timely reporting consistent with internal needs and statutory requirements.
• Integrate the finance function into the group, report financial results, make robust and reliable forecasts.
• Compliance with IFRS and GAAP in the jurisdictions the firm operates in.
• Devising FX risk strategies.
• Standardising and improve systems and controls.
• Financial and accounting policies and procedures.
• Strategic and business planning.
• Other responsibilities that relate to finance-human resources, legal insurance etc.

Training & Education Required:

• B Com CA CPA

Experience Required:

• Xero, Sage, Excel, procurement and approval software and other financial reporting software.
• Experience in a senior financial managerial position with a proven record of success.

Direct Reports:

• 2 direct and subsidiary accountants plus Perth finance team.
