Chief Information Officer (Bundaberg And Hervey Bay)

An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Chief Information Officer to join the Finance and Performance Services Team at the Bundaberg or Hervey Bay Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 200,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:

• Provide leadership, direction and strategic advice on the planning and delivery of ICT & Information Management (IM) services to enhance service delivery and organisational performance while mitigating risk.

Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment for 6 months with the possibility of extension.

Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases ( https://tinyurl.com/yc6pgyt2 )(VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $16,716 p.m., comprising salary between $6,434.20 - $6,729.10 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (DSO1) (Temporary Full Time , 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment for 6 months with the possibility of extension).
