Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief of Community Services will play a pivotal role in the strategic management of the Council's Community Services and functions. In this role, you will support the CEO in leading and delivering services that meet the agreed needs and aspirations of the community, focusing on enhancing community well-being, environmental sustainability, and effective engagement.
As Chief of Community Services, you will serve as the lead advocate for the community, engaging directly with community groups, service clubs, and stakeholders to build strong, collaborative relationships. You will drive the advancement of Community Services through innovative programs and partnerships, fostering inclusivity and social cohesion.
The successful candidate will possess a degree qualification in a related field along with contemporary experience in a similar role. You will be a strong leader with the ability to build robust relationships across a diverse group and contribute to the Council's vision as a trusted community partner.
