Arrowquip designs its products to improve the daily life of livestock producers to improve their productivity.
The Role
The business is at the early stages of a very exciting growth phase, with an ambitious but achievable growth strategy over the next five years leveraging 30 years of success. This is an excellent opportunity for their COO to play a key and vital part in achieving this plan while working closely with the CEO and Board on all matter’s operations.
This role not only oversees and controls the daily business operations which is considerable in size, but will drive the manufacturing and supply chain capacity of the business to achieve its exponential growth targets. This will involve fundamental operational leadership, but equality important is thinking outside the square to build and create manufacturing capacity across Australia and New Zealand.
The Person
Key skills and attributes being sought are:
Strong and established operational and governance experience in a manufacturing and agriculture business
Effective people management able to lead large teams
Experience in delivering and executing complex and large-scale projects, especially using 3rd party partners for execution
Manufacturing and lean management ideally in an agricultural environment
Highly developed relationship and stakeholder skills with assertive negotiation skills and an ability to detect operational improvements and opportunities
Be self-managed, possess high levels of energy, strong drive, and naturally think and act for the long term
The head office and the primary manufacturing site is based in Tamworth. To be successful you will be a senior manager with a deep understanding of what is required to run a fast-paced and challenging manufacturing operation. The business has ambitious growth plans, and this role is pivotal to its future success and offers a rare opportunity to take an already successful and market proven manufacturer into the future.
