The Insurance Commission generated $2 billion in revenue and earnings in 2023. Over 40,000 new insurance claims were received during the year. The total value of outstanding claims is over $5.5 billion. Delivering more than $2 billion in dividends to the State over the past decade and with total assets of more than $7.5 billion, the Insurance Commission is a substantial self–funded entity and one of the largest financial services institutions in Western Australia. Insurance Commission investment returns in 2023 were over $500 million.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, this position is a strategic leadership role with accountability for leading the operating divisions of the Insurance Commission.
As a member of the Insurance Commission Executive, you will bring proven capabilities leading and managing multidisciplinary high performing teams. You will have experience building a team culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
To be a strong contender for this role, applicants must bring proven financial and economics skills, able to work collaboratively with key stakeholders, have highly developed communication skills, and an interpersonal style that engenders trust and respect.
