This ASX listed national diverse FMCG company has retained Scotford Fennessy to attract their next Chief Operating Officer. The company is cash positive, debt free and profitable. The COO would drive transformational change to the business group. This role is expected to then transition to the CEO position within 12-18 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day to day operations of all sites and management Australia wide.
- Drive sales growth to exceed national targets and find ways to accelerate growth.
- Ensure on time and accurate financial reporting with Chief Financial Officer to comply with all listing regulations and BOD requirements.
- Create shareholder value by improving group results.
- Engage with Board of Directors to ensure transparency, alignment of strategies and results always.
- Assist in developing a strategy for investment to grow the business and deliver improved profitability.
- Formulate a marketing plan for the water business that is nationwide and marketable.
- Manage cash flow to ensure minimal working capital and optimised return on capital employed.
- Build a team nationwide that is aligned to the company vision and purpose.
- Ensure harmonious work environment at all locations and no disruptions to work due to employee disputes.
- Help drive potential acquisition opportunities.
- Previous experience in management / commercial strategy within F&B industry
- Work with the chair and board who will support you in the transformational change of the business group you will be leading.
- After 12-18 months there is a clear career progression to become CEO.
- Being cash positive, there is opportunity for an acquisition or expansion of business unit that you will be driving.
- Stock options will become available with your salary package
- The chair has decades of FMCG experience and happy to share their knowledge and support.
