This is a permanent, full-time position (38 hours per week, Monday to Friday) based at any office within our footprint! This role can also be based remotely for the right candidate.
As Chief Operations Officer, you will work in close collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team to drive the strategic vision and operational excellence of BEST, and provide strong leadership and people management to teams across the organisation. You will oversee the development and implementation of effective strategies and ensure success across our employment services, community services, disability services and social enterprise programs.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will be a self-motivated, passionate and resilient leader with:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to write reports and funding submissions.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing organisational strategies.
- Strong analytical problem solving and project management skills.
- Strong leadership skills, including communication, influencing, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a similar strategic program leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of Employment Services, Disability Services and/or Community Services and a keen interest to continue knowledge diversification.
- Relevant qualifications in Business Management or similar and/or demonstrated extensive relevant experience.
- Current Class C Drivers Licence.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Willingness to undergo a Police Check
