This is a brand new opportunity in the medical imaging world, suited to an experienced Radiographer looking to secure a leadership position. The best part? This role is pivotal in leading the day-to-day operations, calling for an individual who is personable, reliable and resilient to the dynamic nature of a newly formed team and clinic. You and the team will enjoy all the bells and whistles that come with a newly built clinic, including incredible machines, systems and facilities. This position is a manageable blend of leadership and being on the tools, with dedicated time for admin and solid support structures around you.

The Role

  • Manage daily workforce requirements including effective staff rostering, annual leave planning etc as per business needs.
  • Manage, develop, and mentor staff and provide clinical guidance.
  • Ensure outstanding service delivery and provide supervision of the day-to-day management of the medical imaging department.
  • Provide quality improvement initiatives and review and refine work practices to improve clinical and financial outcomes.
  • Perform routine and specialised medical imaging procedures to the highest professional standards as required.

About You

  • Previous experience leading a team within Medical Imaging field - or demonstrated drive to achieve in this space.
  • AHPRA registration and relevant radiation licence (or ability to obtain)
  • Hunger for excellence, desire for a challenge and passion for achieving.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including patients, staff and referrers.
