The Role:
Due to the extensive order book and internal improvements, they are seeking a Production Process Manager who will shift production delivery into the next gear, ensuring that production targets are met and that assets are delivered to clients according to spec and on time. Your role will include but not be limited to the following:
- Improvement of the existing production process
- Ensuring production of customer work orders to be DIFOT (Delivered In Full On Time)
- Allocating of appropriate resources and analysis of production performance
- Overseeing of planning, forecasting, resources, parts and all aspects of production
- Accountable to key stakeholders for production deliverables
- Create, implement and manage a continuous improvement processes to drive productivity
- Eliminate quality escapes and the need for rework
- Ability to redirect and shift direction quickly based on supply chain and logistics challenges
- Manager a team of 30 including supervisory, trades people, parts interpreters, logistics
- Responsible for training, development and implementation of WH&S
- Accountability for site management

You:
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Production Manager
- Experience improving production process flow
- Assembly, fabrication and engineering experience
- Be mechanically minded
- Have an understanding of electronics, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Possess exceptional leadership and people skills,
- Proven track record with driving change
- An ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders
- Results driven and able to deliver on KPI’s
- Understanding and experience of lean manufacturing principals
- Experience on M1 or similar ERP/MRP systems
- Exceptional IT and data interpretation skills
