After The Bell Aus is seeking Qualified Child Care Co-ordinators and Assistants who are energetic, dedicated, and passionate Educators who enjoy caring for children in a School-Aged setting at our Warragul Primary School Vacation Care Outside School Hours Care Program.

Co-ordinator/ Assistant-

• Casual role- Between 22 to 37 hours during school holiday periods.
• Attractive Salary- between $35 to $44 per hour (super inclusive) (dependent on industry experience, qualification and position applying for).
• Secure position
• Available work in school term periods at our Drouin program.

The Role-

The successful candidates will be supported by an Area Manager to deliver and provide a safe, engaging, and rewarding program.

• Ability to provide a routine-based, engaging, secure, hygienic, and safe environment for children aged 5 to 12 years.
• To have a strong understanding and a high level of experience in managing children with different behavioral needs and the ability to build relationships with children to support their particular needs.
• Willing to understand and follow Child Care Government Framework requirements and company policies and procedures.
• Liaise with families, school staff, and colleagues to build strong relationships across the school community.
• Create a welcoming environment and a positive team workplace.

Essential Criteria-

• Diploma in Children's Services or Teaching Degree or Sport or Allied Health or Outside School Hours Care or equivalent or currently studying in an approved course.
• Previous experience working and caring for children is desirable.
• Resides in the Gippsland region and can travel to work each shift.
• First Aid Training Level HLTA0012 or willing to obtain before commencement.
• Protection Training or willing to obtain before commencement
• A current Working With Children Check (E status).
