Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Early Childhood Area Manager to oversee our growing network of Early Childhood Centres across Canberra. As the Area Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality of care and education for young children in our region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance to our early childhood center directors and staff.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that our centers maintain the highest standards of early childhood education and care.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with all local, state, and federal regulations, and ensure that our centers are in full compliance.
- Budget Management: Manage the financial health of each center, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation.
- Staff Development: Support and mentor center directors and staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Parent and Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents, families, and the community to create a sense of belonging and trust.
- Program Development: Work with center directors to develop and enhance educational programs, curricula, and activities.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data and feedback to continuously improve the quality of our early childhood education services.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a multi-site manager within the Early Childhood or OSHC Sector
- Diploma in Children's services or above
- Current working with children check
- Current drivers license and vehicle
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a passion for child development
- Budgeting and financial management experience
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to travel to our various centers within the region
