About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an assistant educator who has experience with all age groups and a passion to inspire and lead other educators.
The role requires an educator who can:
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment: Educators are responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for young children.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate learning experiences: Educators plan and deliver educational activities that are appropriate for the age and developmental stage of the children they work with.
- Observe and assess children's learning: Educators regularly observe and assess children's progress and development.
- Build positive relationships with children and families: Educators build positive relationships with children and their families.
- Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals: Educators work collaboratively with other educators, support staff, and other professionals to provide high-quality care and education for children.
About You
As a assistant educator you will bring demonstrated leadership credentials in the childcare industry. You will have exceptional communication skills with high levels of care and empathy.
You will have:
- An Early Childhood Teaching degree or ACECQA approved equivalent qualification
- Solid understanding of National Quality Framework (NQF)
- Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Good knowledge of Child Protection and Workplace OH&S legislation
- Knowledge of health, hygiene and the nutrition needs of children
- Proven understanding of administrative functions
