About the Role
As a Performance Analyst at Guardian, you'll play a vital role in our finance team, leveraging IBM Planning Analytics to drive insightful decision-making. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you'll collaborate with various departments to facilitate financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. Your responsibilities will include generating regular operational and financial reports, designing and developing TM1 solutions, gathering business requirements, integrating data, troubleshooting issues, and recommending enhancements for continuous improvement. This is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams and make a meaningful impact on the organization's success.
About You:
We're seeking an experienced and commercially astute individual who shares our passion for early childhood education. To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CPA, CFA) preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) and Planning Analytics Workspace.
- Proficiency in TM1 architecture, including cube design, turbo integrator, and rules.
- Experience in data integration, ETL processes, and intermediate SQL database management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes and concepts.
- Experience with other financial planning and analysis tools (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan) is a plus.
- Practical working knowledge of Python\TM1py preferred.
